    Quick Responce to bird shite.

Guys, what would you recommend to have in the car as a quick Responce to bird shite.

Something you could spray or use while on the go.

    Thanks.

    Quick detailer and a microfibre.

Or just stop at the nearest jet wash and blast it off.

You cant take any chances with bird dung. Some dungs wont do the paint any harm if left for a day or 2 but then theres some that will mark the paint in a matter of hours.

    Quick Responce to bird sh***.

I try if at all possible rinse it off as they can be gritty and rubbing them off can scratch the paint.

    A Shotgun methinks.

I saw a video a few months ago and it indicated that it wasn't necessarily the contents of the droppings directly that caused problems but changes in temperature during the day.

Might have been in the shade when targeted, then sun came around and maybe back in to shade or the car driven in and out.

There's one parking spot at the office that seem to attract every flying fcuker in the place. Luckily I don't park there.

I think one would need more than a few wipes here..

I always notice if the car is manky dirty you never get bird sh!t on it.
However, spend the whole weekend cleaning the car or pay up for a full detail and the avian flugwaffe strike, covering the car

    Quick Responce to bird sh***.

Ok so my car is an absolute embarrassment lately .... I have chunks of birdshit on the boot and rear quarter. It's like glue. Any ideas for softening it prior to cleaning it off?

Soak a cloth in hot water and it might soften it up

Soak, soak and soak again. Then try power wash, just dont go near it with a cloth! The shinier the car, the more liable to a shite attack - some say it's because the reflection of the gleaming car makes the bird think its over water, and so they drop the load!
