    Bleeding a 318i

ok had a problem with the car on friday pipe came off a plastic piece that runs along the head under the intake small pipe itself i think runs into the internal rad anyway bled the system after managing to put the pipe back on at the side of the road that night checked it the next day it was down a bit on water so filled it to the line on the bottle now checked it here in work and it seemed that there was no water in the bottle so opened the cap slowly and saw that the water was rising in the bottle up nearly to the neck so have i still got some air in the system or could it be a bigger problem

    Cheers
    Chris.

From experience any time I've bled I've had to top up once or twice afterwards until the level stabilised.
Did you have your heating on while bleeding it?

Up to temp lid of expansion bottle and heating up full. Raise the front up as well. Will need topping up too
