Try another body control module. This also works the central locking. Might be going or else it is losing power for whatever reason.

There is a few versions about with different colour connectors on them. Just find one with the same HW and SW number as yours.

EDIT: Actually first thing to do is check the wiring going into the boot. That shorts sometimes and can make the car do all sorts of weird shit.

Check the fuse for that module first. Along with the boot wiring. Doubtful is a fuse though since it came back the first time but easier to rule out the basics first before spending money.

Did the lights come back when you replaced the fuse? Or the locks and windows? The problem is the interior lights grounding so somewhere if I had to guess. I would try trace that first. If that blew the module any replacement will be blown as well. Then check if that module is getting power before replacing it.

Also did you check the boot wiring?

the lights came back all working grand. they went when i done the sunroof so i wonder was it something i done when taking the headliner down that i shorted something out maybe? i did have to disconnect some the lights to remove them.

    yup its getting power.

Well that's probably what caused that so. Did the windows and locks come back when you changed the fuse? The last thing to check before replacing the module is the wiring under the carpet in the passenger footwell. There is ground wires there and if it's ever leaked they can corrode. If it's not that I'm out of ideas. You will just have to try the body module.
