Is there anyone that can clear the airbag light on a E39. It only came on from a steering wheel change.
I'm in Kildare if there's anyone with the tool nearby it would be a great help.

Geoff look up the elm 327 you can get them on adverts for 10/15 quid they work with a 3e app called torque pro , it will diagnose and clear engine fault codes etc (the only thing im not sure on is if it knocks airbag lights off so maybe do a search first)
A handy tool with loads of functions but they won't clear an airbag fault only engine ecuOriginally Posted by Gar
I've tried with another type of scanner but it couldn't clear it so I thought I'd need a proper bmw one. But I might try that tool anyway Gar, it would be handy to have.

I can clear it for you no problem Geoff but it's gonna be a month before I get back.
Another option is to get the BMWhat App & buy a VLink Wifi dongle. This will allow you read & clear most BMW fault codes.
There's another WiFi dongle & app from a company called iOBD2 called the XTool. It looks to be a step on from BMWhat. I have not used this yet though.
