Clubsport weighted knob

I bought this as a modified illuminated knob - the wiring broke when fitting it, I did a repair which temporarily worked, and then it broke again, so I'm not keeping it.

Apart from that, the brushed chrome collar doesn't do it for me. I think its seen maybe 2 miles of driving. Its not perfect - there's a slight bit of damage from the repair, but its in good condition. You can see the damage just under 4th on the knob. Photo gives a good representation of how it is.

Good buy Chris. You can get replacement leather off eBay for €8. I did mine recently and it looks class.

That's the one Gar, there are two types just so you know, that one with two seams and one with one continuous seam.
Edit : sorry for hijack but literally got sniped on eBay bidding on one of these, lost it by 50c at 7 seconds to go... Fuming.

Cant see any for the clubsport gearknobs just the longer shaped one :-(

That's the continuous single switch, most standard E46 knobs would use this one, the sport knob uses the other.

As for the clubsport being shorter I'd say it's just a matter of cutting it short.
