Well lads.bought the whole retrofit kit so easier in future to add the bigger screen and newer drive.anyway plugged it all in yesterday in the boot to see if it worked before taking the car apart and have a issue.the monitor shows black with a grey bar at the bottom.any ideas why
What modules are connected to it ?
don't know a lot about these,bm24,trimble,analogue tv tuner,amped loom,mk2 drive,new gps aerial.i will take pics later of the bits,,maybe ive left something unplugged.havent tha audio cables plugged in as im just checking if it works before taking the car apart,was also wondering if I can use the audio loom that's already in the car if I separate the wires.would save a lot of time.Originally Posted by Gar
The screen wont do anything if (a) the radio or sat nav module is dead or (b) its not wired correctly or lastly (c) dead screen
Have you tried using the radio does it work
nothing works,no screen no sound.would expect a noise or something to flicker at least,redoing it now to see
Id say you have done something wrong with the loom , take pictures as you go along if you can
was sent mk3 loom instead of mk2..sorted
