ok so a friend has bought an e90 which was vandalised by someone doing a dance on the roof and i have never seen anything as bad before,
what i would like to know is what would you think would be the approx cost to fit a new roof and is there anyway it can be repaired as it is

Tony at quickdent .info, PDR guy, he was based around dolphins barn when I used him before. I'm sure he'd give that a go, he has some mad tricks for taking out dents, and is surprisingly cheap. I'd say the roof lining might need to come off if a hammer was needed though. It could be pulled/beating out by an experienced panel beater. But it's labour intense. If you go down the new roof skin path the front and rear windows need to come out. I'd would get a price on both. I can get you a price on both if you want
I see worse than that been repaired with a blow torch, roof will need pain but a cheaper job that cutting it

Would be very tough to get right as it's such a late flat panel, labour costs would kill ya too.
Without a doubt I would be looking at a new skin.
