    Clutch fluid loss

    Hey, I drive a 1999 320d E46

Driving home the other night and i hit a greasy patch on the road, long story short is that the car spun and done a reverse entry onto a grass margin on the side of the road, i got out and inspected any damage that might have been noticeable straight away.

Nothing seemed to be clipped or came in contact with any other object that may have been in the long grass.

I then got back in and drove about 2 miles down the road where i pulled in again in a safer spot to examine the underneath.

I spotted a fluid leak coming from the back of the engine, i turned off the car immediately.

Checked the usuals, engine oil etc... but when i went to test the clutch, it went straight to the floor.

When we got it off the trailer and back in the shed i tried to trace it, i'm no expert but it seemed to be coming from the back of the engine on the manifold side.

Any assistance to what could be broke (or fixable) would be greatly appreciated

    RE: Clutch fluid loss

Check the fluid line on the right of the brake reservoir has not come off. Also the clutch line runs down the passenger floor.
