I like the look without the arm rest actually! Very impressive! Arm rest would only obstruct the cup holder!

Dude the driving experience is 90% more pimp with an armrest. Have you ever had one? Don't know what your missing if not.

The funds are not there for the moment..

But how much would it cost to get the new housing, the armrest and I presume a new gator for the handbrake - either new or secondhand?

Armrest is better lookin as the centre console looks a bit bare without it but I find it blocks one cuphholer and also keeps your arm a wee bit too high if you have a clubsport knob imo

Tellin it how it is! 100% agree, I don't see the armrest as an option as much as a necessary part of the interior. It does make your arm a tad too high if you do have the CS knob, I sometimes flick the armrest back when in "Spirited driving mode" but I don't think I'd be as comfortable in a car without one that's for sure.
