OK so now I'm a little bit addicted...tried to machine the dog the other day...but back to motoring business!

I'm nearly sure I saw Chris had polished interior wood trim done time ago and as I've a spare set of trim in the house I wanna give it a bash

My question is how do they put the fig in the fig rolls??

Also, what's the best way to hold the trim for polishing? Have the not so lovely assistant hold half of it as I polish the other half and swap it around? Have the polisher held by the assistant on it's back and run the trim over the top of it? Try clamp the bolts between a vice and vise-grip and polish away? I'm stumped as to which way to attack it!

Oh, amd would I be better off compounding or just glazing?

Cheers in advance chaps
