urgent keys locked in car e46

Have only one key and it's locked in to the boot of a e46 saloon
any idea s or tips or suggestions to try aside from getting a new key or calling a locksmith . few videos on YouTube but don't trust them to be honest thanks

Ultimately you could smash the tailight and buy a replacement for like 30-40 Quid, Ive heard thats one of the cheaper alternatives.

Reach in and grab the keys I presume??

Break the fly window and replace for €30???

A lot easier to replace the tail light though!

Quick Google and I found this, Guy had similar problem smashed the light and used a wire cutters to cut a hole and reached in.

Didn't realise there was as much open space behind the tail light
will still need a new light or a pair and prob 30 to 40 euro
got a quote for a valet key for 52 euro
prob makes sense to order one

I heard years ago that its possible to drill a hole somewhere behind the reg plate and you can get access to a lever that will pop open the boot but I've not seen it done
