But if you doing low mileage and short journeys a petrol makes much more sense IMO.

Daily is diesel only because I do 35K a year.
Love the torque from my daily diesel but it will never sound as good or feel as good as a petrol to drive
Had both prefer petrol although would have no problem with a diesel for the daily hog. Had an under powered 318tds for many years and i thought it was great sounded exactly like a bus :-/
It's a landslide victory for petrol.
God has decreed from this day forth all diesel talk is forbidding
