    RE: Fuel pump woes

So I had a lend of a DME for the weekend swapped it and it did not sort my problem. The car seems to be sparking fine. I'm not sure what my guy was on about when he said a weak/gap in spark but it appears to have the same spark pattern with the DME swapped so must just be the pattern until the engine fires up. We were briefly able to get the engine running on "start you bastard" which has further added to the overall confusion. Tomorrow I'm going to check the petrol that's in it as it smells fairly dead by running it in the lawnmover. Will drain the petrol and add a fresh gallon to see what happens. I'm not convinced it's bad fuel but he seems to think it is. So we still have spark fuel and crank but no start. GRRRR.

I was looking through my visa debit transactions there last place I bought petrol €89 worth. So a full fill was in Dublin. Ballydowd Texaco the one on the way out in Lucan. If it is bad/poor petrol they will get an ear full from me.
