Wow attention to detail is excellent on them, I was in Essen they had some for sale but detail didn't look good so I passed.

Where is the best place to get these and what brands are good, be looking for the ones with better detail

    Here you go Chris.

They had a stand at Essen and do some great models. Autoart, Kyosho, Minichamps are great. Otto are a newer company and they seem to be very good doing models of BMWs that the others hasn't done before.

Yes as Andy has said. Autoart kyosho and mini champs all are excellent. Otto are doing some nice stuff but they are resin and sealed which takes away from it a bit. The fina e30 above is an otto.
Modelissimo is excellent bit you will prob find better prices on eBay. Norev is a newer maker doing some nice stuff.

    Here is there M1

Details are not as good as the minicamp s m1's in the first post. But about half the price.

Autoart and kyosho both made m3 csl. Old mould now from around 2004. This is the kyosho. Nice model. Hard to get now at decent price. About 40 euro back in 04 when I got it.

Here is a section of models I have in storage. Have to get a display case made up for them and get them out in view.
Took out a few to photo over the next few days. Had forgotten about done of the ones I own.
