I can’t believe I’m doing this but here goes……………

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, and reluctantly….very reluctantly I have decided to sell my beloved 2007 BMW e92 335i. (I may yet change my mind as this could be a moment of madness!)

We’ll start with;

The bad Points:

Front driver’s side lip on aero-kit needs paint. (Had a quote but can’t remember off the top of my head the cost). There are some stone chips on front bumper too, nothing too major.

Intermittent check-engine light (usually when cold), have had this diagnosed in ‘SUPER4’ as a sticky exhaust solenoid, and was told that something like ‘Terraclean’ (~€180) would probably sort it. If not, then the solenoid can be removed and cleaned, about an hour’s labour, or replaced at ~€150 plus an hours labour.

Stone chip in the front windscreen (Bottom-centre). Been there since before I purchased car and never got it sorted as I didn’t want some spurious windscreen fitted by dodgy autoglass. No issue for NCT as it’s not in direct line of sight and could probably be pumped.

Good Points:

306hp of twin turbo goodness as standard.
Auto/Sport box with multi-function steering wheel including Paddle Shift.
BMW factory-fitted aero-kit.
NCT’d until Jan 2015. Test Booked for Jan 2015.
Taxed until end of MARCH 2015.
Mileage ~88k miles.
4 brand new Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres with ZERO miles (September 2014).
4 wheels professionally refurbished by Wheel Wizards and finished in BMW Silver (August 2014).
2014 SatNav Disc along with original ’07 Nav Disc.
AUX Jack under arm-rest for MP3 player.
NOKIA BMW phone dock under the arm-rest for those who like the retro look!

Recent maintenance carried out by SUPER4 Indy Specialist:
New OEM water-Pump
New OEM Thermostat
Slight Oil Leak located and sorted.

July 2014: Complete software update done on ALL modules including gearbox.
July 2014: Faulty Bluetooth Module Replaced.
February 2014: Oil Service (Frank Keane BMW).

She has had regular service stamps throughout, will update with more info later.

Pictures to come later.

I have had the pleasure of owning her since September 2012 when I purchased her from Lambe & O’Connnor for €17950 with ~68K miles. She had new brake discs and pads fitted shortly prior to me purchasing and as part of the purchase I asked for the front and rear bumpers to be painted as there were scratches and stone chips visible.

In the last 2 years I have not had anything major go wrong, she even passed the NCT first time when it was due in Jan 2013. She has been a complete pleasure to own and drive, and has even surprised several M3 owners at her ability to keep up! I have always tried to maintain the paintwork as best I can, given she’s been in every-day use, (bar chipping the paint on the front lip off a kerb) with regular de-tarring and 2-bucket washes and claying, compounding, polishing and waxing her also as much as I could. Anything she wanted was catered for in my ownership, which wasn’t a whole lot other than regular cleans, servicing, tax and of course - fuel!!

A slight problem started to develop recently with the water pump so I decided to have this changed along with the ‘stat before any major issues developed, and anyone who may have priced this type of job, for this car, will know it’s close on €1k using OEM parts, so there’s piece of mind knowing this has all been taken care of. Brand new tyres and wheel refurb are major things not to have to worry about either, imo, and not having to worry about tax until well after Christmas is another plus!!

I have tried to be as honest and up front as I can in the ad, but any further questions welcomed as I’m sure I have forgotten stuff. So feel free to ask via PM though, as I’d prefer the ad not get cluttered or potentially drift off-topic.

Price is negotiable within reason, to established forum members.

Thanks for looking…time for me to go cry!!!
