Hi folks, headin to America soon and my GPS is UK & Ireland only. Car rental place is charging stupid money to rent a GPS. So question is... would anybody who has a Sat Nav with US maps care to help a brother out?
Bit of a long shot... But would be a great help and would greatly appreciate it!
A couple of people just told me that you can download any maps for any sat nav... Anybody know how true that it is? Would be pretty handy if it is...
Yea u can download the maps but they cost money and then ya gotta download normal ones when ya get back!!! Did ya price buying a cheap nav over there cos that's what my mate did when he went over!!!
Ah, nothing in life is free! May indeed be the best option to buy one there as it will definitely be cheaper than renting.

you'll struggle to find semeone here with usa maps as at a stretch most of would just have europe
iPhone 5, but would need to unlock it, get a US sim, get some internet package, a car holder, a car charger etc.

still time to get phone unlocked but second hand sat nav off ebay us be the right job imo
