Lightbulb Thoughts on back box delete?

    Reasons to do it:

    - Noise! - nicer / louder etc
    - Customization - you can choose the tips you want
    - Cost - much, much cheaper than an aftermarket exhaust
    - Doesn't effect NCT (could someone confirm?)

    Reasons not to do it:

    ...

Is there any reason not to do it?

Seems overkill why not just chop off the backbox completely and weld a twin tip on

I love the Harman Kardon switch

Feck it though, I'd say chop it off and straight pipes. But from my understanding, once resonator and cats are not tampered with, it should be a nicer more aggressive sound without it being over the top or attracting negative attention. Is that right or will it be boy racer loud? I don't want boy racer loud!

Black E36 passed me a few weeks ago on Baggot St which sounded like it had a hole in its exhaust..but it was well modded, so presume it was intentional. Didn't sound good at all, but that may have been more than just a back box delete
