e46 Manual Climate Control relocation

Hi Guys.

Looking for some advice.

I have a 01 e46 320ci I want to get an android player for my car.

The issue im having is that there doesn't appear to be a relocation unit for the manual climate control unit (3 knob dials) which would drop down a slot and replace the spare compartment above the ashtray holder.

Does anyone know of a part number for a relocation unit?

Is there one available at all?

There appears to be mixed messages out their on other forums about changing the manual unit to an automatic unit.....Some says it plug and play others saying its a complete refit?

Any guys who've changed their units or attempted this DIY job I'd greatly appreciate your help.

I always understood that facelift cars could be upgraded with the new panel prefacelift required major surgery.
