    F10 Rear Brake Pad change.

    Hi Guys,

    Just wondering if anyone has successfully replaced the rear Brake pads on a BMW f10 520d ?.Auto handbrake being the issue.

    No but if you don't have a diagnostic I wouldn't chance it just to be safe. Could run into all sorts of problems from brakes coming on while the caliper is off, or a set up problem which could cause it not to operate properly. I'm sure a few of the site sponsors would have tools to do it and be reasonably priced.

    calipers need to be released with bmw diagnostic tool or equivalent (autologic etc)
    Only proper garages would have these.
