Bonnet release cable

Couldn't open the bonnet earlier, snooped around for a while and the cable has snapped at the lever inside the car. Used a pliers to pull the remaining piece of cable to open the bonnet.
Is it a big pain to replace this cable?
Anybody do it before ?

No not too bad, there is a join near the drivers side suspension turret so you only have to replace that section. The only difficult part I found was getting the grommet on the new cable properly seated into the hole in the bulkhead.

Cable is snapped at the handle in the cabin.
Might give it a go next week.

The cable is only around 25 quid from main dealer. Takes a bit of patience to feed it through the bulkhead under the ABS pump but yeah its a DIY job.
