    Lightbulb New Battery

    Hi all

Looks like I need a new battery for the 325 (E46 2002). It didn't start minutes before my nct retest, so jumped it and it got me through the re test thankfully, but won't start again after being left over night.

It must be 10 years since I've had to buy a car battery, any recommendations on where to buy? Or links to exactly the one I'd need?

    Appreciate the help

Cheers Gar..have to see who's local to me so

Is there a particular type that's recommended I wonder.
    Presume dealers are astronomically expensive?

Definitely ring around Donal, even the dealer. In some cases they come up cheaper!

    FK
    Batteryworld in Kimmage
A&F motorfactors on Cromwellsfort Road in Walkinstown
Otto for a Bosch in Tallaght

    Re: New Battery

Just try stick to a decent brand you can usually spot a rubbish battery a mile off it will have a bit of chinese jibberish and fireworks or something silly on the front

    Bosch
    Oldham
    Exide
    Yuasa

Etc are all good to name a few but most factors will stock good batterys and come with a minimum 3yr warranty

    RE: New Battery

Frank Keane's came up the best value at €109 when the discount is applied. Others I rang ranged from €110 to €140.

At €109 I'm happy to get an OE part and Robert Ellis in FK is very good to deal with

Also John, battery in mine is a 70 ah white battery which is the most common for the E46 apparently
