    E46 Xenon / Halogen casing

    Anyone know if the guts of an OEM Xenon headlight will fit inside an OEM halogen headlight?

    One of the retaining clips is broken on mine, figured it would be cheaper to buy a used halogen unit and transfer in the Xenon bits.

    Yes @[kdevitt] housings are the same. I'll try dig out a diy somewhere.
    All E46 housings are the same shape with the exception of the facelift coupe afaik and the fact that early pre-face coupes have clip in indicators, later pre-face have screw in type.

    You may have to cut a hole in the bottom for the igniters but the shape should be there just closed on the halogen housing.
