    Android XBMC TV Box

    Anybody running one of these?
I'm getting rid of UPC tv next week but keeping the broadband.

Don't know which one to get. Loads of lads on facebook and adverts selling them for €120-€160.

I don't know where to start tbh

I am running XBMC now called kodi from a dedicated windows PC on to my 42" tv and find it great. As far as I know Marlow has one and is happy with it.

I've bought 3 of these in the past few weeks. No complaints here

Yeah, there's regular updates and custom roms too.
Xbmc / kodi is already installed out of the box.

Android is handy enough and most people are familiar with adding the good apps I think? Xbmc is not hard to set it up but there's a small learning curve if you haven't used it before.

Generally you can add all the apps that the guys on adverts offer.as they are just installing them from the Web.

I don't have the Irish stuff installed as i wouldn't watch it but I can check it out for you. I've seen them in the app lists

Where do ye get the m3u links for live tv lads?

I decided to hop on the bandwagon tonight and give kodi a try out. If I can get it working correctly on my desktop, I'll get rid of **crappy** Horizon TV and pick myself up some sort of a small box for it.

So far I've got 7000 channels and hardly any of them work :hehe!:
