    E36 325i Dyno

For anyone that's interested. (not sure if this is the right section)
Always wondered what power the m50b25's make as I've heard 3 common figures : 170bhp 180bhp 190bhp. So I took the car for a dyno run today at WCP (West Coast Performance) in Kerry. Sound experienced people there with a good reputation and known for more accurate figures. They've tuned and built many rally/time attack/drift and road cars.
He did a number of runs in 4th and 3rd gear here are the results:

    182.8bhp 180ft/lbs
Very happy with this thought it would be somewhere between 160-170bhp.

Ya they're a nice car,not as many saloon 36's around as there is coupes, paint work is only average, few dents on it, bumpers need some attention too, but overall a mechanically good car and not rusty. Do you notice much of a difference between the 325 and 328?

Yes single vanos. I think only the m3 engines have double vanos?? Could be wrong.
Exactly, still has plenty of life in her, a nice balance as a daily driver too, has a little bit of power but is also handy on fuel.
