Was their child wearing their Sunday best and going to their Granny's??

My fella is 5 next month and find myself saying 'Dont...' quite a lot, but at the same time, he's let go out on the green thats soaking wet, jump in muddy puddles, etc....the 'Dont's!!' tend to happen in the aftermath - Dont put your shoes on the sofa. Dont hang your coat up there :P

Gotta let them of the leash occasionally - those parents at the pool are probably the type that let him on his tablet for hours on end, and complain how he/she doesnt go out enough!

Ours is 5 too so we do that as well but this is different. The result of all their “Don’t” is that the kids is sitting still, like a mini adult. Not playing, not exploring, not swimming. Just doing nothing until she gets her next instruction.

Curran, I use my kids as mini slaves, I send them to do all sorts of tasks for me. They love it and love the responsibility. Around a pool parents can get stressed, I have had parents eat the head off me cause 1 euro plastic buckets get mixed up, or kids get into arguments. Children are like farts...you only like your own.
All me beemers are gone.....for now.

Kids are pretty much never the problem, it’s almost always the parents.
