Passenger Door Won't Unlock

Hi guys,

Problem with the passenger door and it's a strange one. It won't open when I press the unlock button on the key. Other door and boot open no problem. I can hear a release in the door when I press it but the stalk won't come up.

** It locks with the lock button on the key, just doesn't unlock**

When I press the lock button beside the hazard switch it doesn't seem to have any effect on the passenger door either.
I have to get into the car and open it with the handle to allow people in and it's a pain in the hole! Anyone have any ideas?

I would say your door lock actuator is shot, you'll need to strip the door card off to open the door if I'm not mistaken.

I had the same problems with my driver's door and it was the actuator
