Mtec bulbs seem to get a good review but are pricey. i used to bring angel eye bulbs in from China, then HealyC took the baton from me but stopped a while back. The quality of those bulbs was good.Originally Posted by rebel.ranter
Over the last few years I have tried lots of different angel eye bulbs in the e53 but have never been happy. In the end I just went back to the OEM bulbs.
Whatever bulbs are fitted to my to in law's e92 M3 are fantastic but I cannot see any name on them. The AE are really bright & look OEM & really modernise the car. That's what I'm after.
In 9 years with the e39 & 4 years with the e63 I've never bothered to change or even consider changing them.
I've replaced one bulb in each during all that time (got the e63 one on the free bulb replacement campaign that BMW occasionally run).
Sometimes it's just about leaving well enough alone.

I've considered getting more in and can get them easily enough. If I had enough interest id get them. You'd want the 10w versions Mark
I've had the Mtec number plate lights in and they have been great with no reliability issue. I actually have two spare new sets also due to errors on distributors behalf
They don't appear to be suitable to the 6er though

These are simply the best for angel eyes on pre lci e60 e63.
Seen them in action they are very nice
Just to update, I fitted these to my M6 this evening & I think they really change the look of the car, in a good way!
Happy with them!
