    National Vehicle Stats '12 / '13

    All archived here: http://www.simi.ie/Statistics/Nation...tatistics.html

and the RRP's in Dec 2012 (scroll along the excel sheet for BMW!) --> http://files.simi.ie/statistics/Reco...GuideDec12.xls

How things looked in January '13..

BMW seem to be the least affected (thanks to all the 520d's!)

20 Day figures... Market down 26% versus 2012.

    1st, 2nd & 3rd for 131 D - Dublin registrations in January!
    1. 5 Series
    2. Focus
    3. Golf

Top 3 manufacturers for 132 registrations in July:
    1. Ford
    2. VW
    3. Toyota

11,640 registrations recorded for July '13. Total so far this year is now 64,866. BMW sold 416 cars in this period, 2,775 so far in 2013.

Lads, we are funked in future years with boring/dull cars and a complete lack of anything decent beyond an 06/07 registered motor.

Now onto today's SIMI headline (lies) in the Independent..
    "Car sales roar 163%" :@

They may well be up 163% as a direct comparison to the 7th month of 2012 (a quiet month for car sales recession or not!). What they fail to report is that overall car sales for the year to July in direct comparison to 2012 are down close to 9%.
