E38 735i gearbox oil change

Hi guys hope someone can help. I'm looking to do an oil change on the automatic gearbox on my 7. Just looking for a bit of advice on the oil to use. Should I use atf II or dextron III. Also does anyone know the oil capacity of the gearbox?

the oil in your gearbox is not simple --this question was answered some time ago by a man who scanned the pages of a hays manual which from memory said BMW oil only.
to show it is not simple I have had to import a 20 lt can of TRANSSYND from Castrol through emo oil as it is the only oil in the world which will allow a Allison gearbox to change gears properly .
this is made only in the USA and was specially designed to CURE the box of its faults --oil is not simple --spend the money on the correct one not the handiest as I used dextron 2 on a zf box and got 4hours of use --I pulled up the dipstick and it was coated high with sludge which was the lining material on the clutch plates now in the oil .
