M5 Gearbox Oil

So the car has just shy of 77k it.

I don't think the gearbox oil has ever been changed. There is a very slight whine coming out from gearbox in 6th when doing motorway speeds.

Should I change it?

Of corse U should change it!! MTF LT 2 or 3

I use Castrol Syntrans B 75W

Thanks Valdas, I wasn't sure, some people suggest that when you go past a certain mileage it can cause more problems than benefits.

should I include the friction modifier?

I thought that was moreso auto gearboxes? IIRC friction modifier is only for the diff
