Recall on 2 Ltr Diesel timing chains

One thing that just struck me, the issue is still present in 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 cars right now. There are plenty of stories floating about on line about failures on even F10 & F30 cars. When does the QA program start for those models?

I was in Murphy and Gunn BMW today collecting our E60 and one of the lads was saying that it's not a recall, a Quality Assurance program

Parts and labour covered seemly.

So should I call M&G and enquire?

Calling a main dealer is proving the best option reported here and on boards where there is another dedicated thread on this issue.

Yeah I got that from the dealer and put it in with the service history when getting ours done last month.
