Got a screen fitted during the week and noticed that both pillars and the drivers side door and wing are badly scratched after the screen was fitted. In fairness they are going to repair it for me bit they want a company in dublin to do the work and I want to get it done here in laois from a guy whos work is top notch. Can I fight to get it done where I want or do I have to play ball with the glass company.

uncle got his replaced during the week and left bits of class inside the car as well as not sticking the rear view mirror or rain sensor on to the window some shocking work out there
Are they going to cover your travel expenses? Im assuming if it needs paint, it wont be done in a day? Youll have to getback home then travel back to dubland to collect it.
If it was me id tell them out straight that its only going to a company whom i thrust.

If they've accepted liability, you have them over a barrel. They're liable to return the car to the condition it was in prior their damage.
You haven't done anything wrong, why should you be inconvenienced due to their inept workmanship.
