e39 Door card

Thinking of what to do with the interior of my e39 and came across this picture and quite like the look of it.



Just wondering can the top part of the door card where the air vent is. Can that be removed separately as my door cards are cream already, so would just need the top bit to be black.

The black part can be separated. It is glued to the doorcard. When I fitted the rear blinds in to my e39, I went that route. Couldn't get the leather off the rear door cards.
