    Wheel fit on e39 Sport

I'm going to have the wheels refurb'd on my 530i Sport before it hits the road again after its winter break (std Styling 66's). I have a set of 16" turbines that I could stand it on while they're off the car but I have a nagging suspicion that the brake calipers on the Sport's are a bit bigger so that the 16's won't go on.

Anyone know for sure if this is the case?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't mean to be smart but would you not try one on the car?

I could, but me, the car, the trolley jack and the wheels are all in different places at the moment (some separated by miles) and the feedback here has helped avoid potentially unnecessary messing about.

Sharing of the accumulated knowledge and experience of many is one of the significant benefits of a forum such as this.

    16" will fit ok.
Winter wheels on my 530i are 16".
