Car shopping - anyone know these cars

With school looming in Sept I'm on the hunt for a 2nd car for me (herself will get the e90). This will be a daily driver averaging no more than 6 - 8 km per day (in & out of work & some school drop off/pick up).

Unfortunately when it comes to what car I'm changing my mind like the wind - the only thing that stays consistent is that I want something interesting, relatively easy to maintain and ideally 6 cyl petrol but at the same time I want to keep the spend low(ish) and the running costs reasonable(ish) so this rules out what I'd really like (M3).

Right now I'm thinking E46 325ci & have seen a few on carzone that look ok - I do have a hankering for a convertible - they look cool and I've never had one before (as an added bonus I think my kids would get a real kick out of one).

Anyone know any of these cars?
