Lad's. I know the craic with chains on these. Say 05-07.. what is done or upgraded to stop the problem happening again.. is it wise to keep looking at the 2.0 that's had its chain done or fuck it altogether and look at 525's.. I just cant warrant paying tax for the 3.0 or 535's lovely and all they are.. just forward thinking here
its no problems with chains on 05-07 , only from 07 and up . early is M47 has no chain problems , only N47 has them ,but now main dealers change them under guarantee so no worries on this . the only funny thing is that they do different work depends on mileage afaik .
My understanding is that it is a problem on the 2.0L diesels even in the F10, not just 2007 onwards e60s.
