If your looking for durability avoid using anything that has protection in it before applying you LSP as this will hinder its performance as its not fully bonded to the paint.

Even after claying a car using lube there will be a small amount of protection left behind that you will need to get rid of before applying your LSP this will ensure that the surface is ready to accept it fully.

Hope that makes sense im terrible at explaining stuff in writing hence why Dave (Curran) does it mostly :-/

Also if I was you and going for durability I would go for 2 layers of Extra Gloss, give it a day and add another 2. I would also avoid using quick detailers on top of the EGP as I have found them to sometimes take away from the protection.

Anything else just ask
