    Can't comment at the moment as I haven't done the drivers area (ie seat/carpet/door card) but it does look a bit fresher (some of the stains gone but will need another go in a few months), i would recommend renting/buying one as it will always be needed for 1 car or another weather and working hours have conspired against me but off Monday/Tuesday so hope to dig into my own car, hasn't been washed since November so will be a huge transformation, will start with the da aswell

    About time something was posted here

    Just a quick PIC to show what a quick change a da can do to cloudy headlamps;

    Car: '08 megane
    Headlamps beginning to go cloudy, not overly mad but enough to let the front of the car down

    Quick test (finishing pad with CG V38)

    Drivers light finished (2 passes)
    uploadfromtaptalk1393981458102.jpg

    Passenger light yet to be done
    uploadfromtaptalk1393981474025.jpg

    Time taken: 10 mins Max (most of the time taken masking rather than actually polishing)

    Rear lights were also tackled but no pictures, these required multiple passes with a combination of pads and polish combinations to reduce 90% of the scratches.

    Funny enough it took 3 times longer to do the Rear lights and a combination of both light polishing and finishing Pads. Polished the boot and bonnet (easiest shape - rectangular and sprayers under the bonnet) black is such a rewarding colour to work with

    Re: Today I Did Some Detailing

    Came home from work and considering it was still good outside I went straight into doing some detailing.
    In the past few weeks it has been dishearting when I have a day off work but can't do anything because of the weather so when the weather comes good I will try make the most of it.

    As we all know BMW paint is hard and coupled with the colour of my car, it is very difficult to get quick results. As a result I have begun to tackle the fathers car....one panel at a time when I can.
    uploadfromtaptalk1394913500100.jpg

    A 2008 black megane with lots of swirls due to poor wash technique, I hold my hands up for that mistake.....years of the karcher brush wash technique

    Having already tackled the bonnet, lights and boot last week it was now for something a little more tricky....front wings and also the wing mirrors. Hadn't tackled plastic parts before so a bit apprehensive but knew to make sure plastic not to get to warm or the shit would definitely hit the fan

    First off was a quick wash followed by a quick clay of the panels. It was then ready for some polishing fun.

    Sorry for the lack of pictures, I will be washing the rest of the car tomorrow and will try and get Detailed pictures of the difference between wings and the rest of the body. I will Leave ye with my favourite picture of the evening;
