I presume you have seen it around Andy? Front splitter is flaking too but at least it's getting used! I thought all Alpinas had the badges too and not the bmw emblems?

Any real Alpina has BMW Roundels. All those Alpina versions are cheap tat.

The reg number is very near my old 325 reg number, does that mean it was imported around the same time?

That is lovely though..imagine it all cleaned up, lots of potential
