In Galway on Saturday, a very tidy looking Imola Red e39 Sport, and on the N7 Naas Rd yesterday a very smart looking 05 KE e46 M3 joined the N7 from a very minor side road and then peeled off at Straffen exit - by the colour I'd guess it was a Silverstone edition. I know that Hollybrook had a very nice one recently, I saw the manual about 2 years ago, lovely thing but not sure I could live with the colour of the leather. Given the limited number of these anyway, I wonder if its one of these.

I saw that same M3 a few months ago in Rush, think I posted it here.

I saw a poor ‘88 E30 325i 2 door broken down on the M50 earlier in the very outside lane. Possibly cooling issues, the windscreen was very steamy.

A typical type BMW owner spotted flouting the laws of the land today. He abandoned his black E46 M3 on double yellow Lines in the city centre just because he wanted to get his sandwich.

Lads I'm about to buy a 2007 e92 m3 in the UK. Frustratingly enough the m3 is no longer listed on the vrt website. Does anyone have an idea what the vrt cost will be? Even a rough estimate would help. In my head I'm thinking €5k-€7k but I'm a bit concerned about buying a car when the vrt is unknown.

When it last appeared on the calculator the figure for a 07 would have been just short of €6k.

The E92 M3 would fall into the 36% of the average value here in Ireland
