I'm looking into one of these as a new family bus and haven't really heard much about them?
The one in particular I'm looking at has had a new clutch and fly wheel and a good service history?
Any thoughts? ?? Cheers:wink:

They suffer from timing chain trouble. (Mainly due to wrong oil grade used I think?)
Exhaust manifolds crack (Although that should have been done under warranty)

Yep they do suffer from chain trouble as Ross said due to wrong oil..Good friend of mine had a 04 one for about 2 years and not a days trouble out of it and he drove her on hard on a daily basis. Lovely comfortable car very solid on the road, only thing I noticed was when ur up around the 3500/4000 mark it used to shake and vibrate like mad, don't know it was just his car or what but other than that I think there a fine car if you pick up the right one.

Prefacelift 2.2 engines are timebombs. Facelift ones are good. There great on diesel mick
