Anyway, I’m selling my M3. Pains me to do it, really pains me. It’s a 2003 Sliver Grey SMG with 92k on the clock and full service history. I’m the third owner and it has been extremely well looked after in its lifetime. I bought it off TommyT2, you can see the thread he had at the time. The level Tommy got the car to is exquisite and I’ve done my best to keep it at that. As you can see from Tommy’s thread, the car has wanted for nothing and mechanically, it is in perfect shape. The sub-frame has been repaired by BMW UK up north and is perfect. The car has never wanted for anything and was regularly serviced to the highest standard.
I bought the car at 82k. When I bought it, I brought it Valdas in Motor Confidence and got some preventative maintenance done. The RTAB’s, rear top mounts, diff seal, CPV and rocker gasket and oil top up. It had previously received an inspection I before I bought the car. The car has received a full work over not 1k miles ago. I spent over 2.5k on Inspection II, new viscus fan, new intercooler and pipes, new FSR for AC and fluid flush. This was carried out by Gary in Chelmsford Motors who commented that the car is in pristine condition. All service history is documented by either personal receipts or the log book. I have an A4 folder full of them.
Car has over 5mm on the front and 7mm on the back. Conti rains on the front and only put new eagle F1’s on the back. Backs were put on Last October.
Bad points:
There is a small scratch above the rear passenger wing, above the wheel arch, someone scratch it with a bag I think. There is also small scratch on the corner of the back bumper from a trolley.
There is a kerbing on the drivers side wheel also. I’ve filed it down but you can still see it.
Sorry if I’ve gone on a bit but trying to reflect the condition of the car and the work and money that’s gone into it. I’ve been as honest as I can.
