    E60 Diesel Leak

Guys, my cousin said there was a small puddle of diesel under his car the last few days after driving and then parking up.

He said its in and around the centre of the car underneath.

    Fuel pump?
    Full filter leak?

What's in that area that could cause a diesel leak?

    It's a 2004 525d SE.

The fuel filter should be located behind the under body panel below the drivers side. Thankfully I have never had any fuel leaks with my E60, you're lcky it`s diesel and not petrol. Was there a fuel filter recently replaced its possible that it was fitted without the clip on the heater side of the filter attached, as that would most likely start to self loosen over time......
