Similar situation here soc. My coupé is the 2nd car, and we too use Maxi Cosi in the main car. For mine, we went with the 'stages' seat from Joie, which 'grows' with your child, saving you re-investing soon after, given the rate they grow at at present

While we're on the topic does anyone know of a good seat for a tall three year old but that doesn't have a clip / belt going between the legs?
She complains it hurts and the grandparents don't pull it tight enough as a result when they pick her up.
Must get two of these, my 2 year old is very tall and rapidly outgrowing his current seat but still within age/weight specs for that kind of seat.Similar situation here soc.
