    335i owners - what's your oil temperature?

    Hi folks,

Not sure if my car is not getting to temperature properly but normal operating range is about 90-100C:

I've once seen it go to 110C but otherwise it's always between 90-100 - is this unusual?

Mine's the same 90-100 normal driving, 100-110 in slow start stop traffic, and 110-120 hooning

Yeah the N54 runs very hot, mine runs between 90-100c, and also as high as 110c in traffic on a hot day.

I also recently switched to 10w60 oil on the recommendation of Valdas, mainly because he believed some oil was burning off but it should also handle the heat better. So far so good, oil level and temps steady around 100c.
