anyone try these ? Subframe bush inserts

    http://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-series/product-details/Rear+Subframe+Front+Bush+Insert/11638.html

Anyone got experience with these? having replaced my rear diff bush things have improved greatly but i`m still getting bad tramping when the wheels spin or ASC kicks in.

No major obvious wear in the subframe bushes and the RTABs feel quite firm.

tempted to give them a go, Ive seen first hand how poly inserts rejuvenate and stiffen up a worn bush. I used one in the dogbone engine mount on the wife's passat.

No personal experience with them John, but from reading a good few threads over on cutters, it seems the general consensus is they're too firm for road use. Tbh if it were me, I'd stick with OEM bushes as you know they perform well and offer a good mix between comfort and handling.

I hear ya Nige, however the time and effort to replace with OEM is currently out of the question. the insert can be fitted without removing the subframe, you just drop it an inch and slip them in.

More investigation to do first but just thinking out loud for now...

    cheers.
