I'd also say that the Z for "Zukunft" (or future) was only really relevant to the Z1. None of the other Z models showcased any new tech that I know of, and the Z3 and Z8 certainly looked backwards in terms of styling

All the Z's are out there oddballs but theres only 2 or 3 I like from the z range

I love the Z8. Reminds me of the bmw 507. I'm a bit of a sucker for Fisker designs, quite like the Fisker karma.
If these cars were say 10-15 grand (all they should be) I could see the attraction, but as it sits now to realisticy buy one you'd have to be a millionaire, and if god was a millionaire he wouldn't be buying a z8
