E38 Petrol Tank

Looking for a tank for an E38 750i, looks like pretty much anything will slot straight in bar a 750il

Mine's fairly rusty so looking or a good rust free example, let me know what you have.
I'm in Dublin but willing to go collect if it's good

yeah so if you go onto bmwdriver there's a guy called jackbaur who has done an ev conversion and he had a tank going free of charge as it wasnt needed. May still have it. If you drop me a pm I might have a number for him

Thanks Peter! It's savage alright, looking for one for aaaaaaaaaaaggggeesss and although it's looking to need more work that I'd like I just can't wait to have it fully sorted so I can waft around in luxury with a stonking V12 up front

That's an 8 series e31 don't think they are the same tanks?

I actually have that tank now. Its still for free if it suits.

Just crossed my fingers and toes then checked on realoem and it's a different tank, by the sounds of it the E31 had a plastic tank so it's completely different but really thanks anyway, seriously generous offer!
