    polishing

    looking for advice on polishing lips on wheels

    where do i start?

    How bad are the wheels?

    Metal polish and below grease is often the solution. Wet and dry paper at very fine girt may also be needed depending on the condition.

    You're biggest issue is having to split them to get around the area around the bolts right!

    You'd be surprised how we'll they'd react to a bit of fine grade steel wool and metal polish, and finish them with a microfiber and metal polish....Id try that out on a small section before going out and splashing cash on special polishing tools.

    how did you get it to that stage what polish? any sanding?

    You can buy polishing bits for a drill. You get the polish and the cloth material wheel

    Savage piece of kit.

    I'll post up my work later or tomorrow.
