So how long before the lads in Wheel Wizards have to work on them alloys
The Q7 shown is a 152 - the X5 is a 141. Both kitted out with arms cabinets in the back. Shown below at the announcement of Operation Thor - a blitz on burglary gangs.

Looks like they should have ticked the box on the options list for a harder rear spring on the Audi anyway
Before anyone say's, I realize that the rear of the Audi is probably airsprung...
I heard from a reliable source that actually saw the cars several BMW X5M were acquired.
Trunk is loaded with armored trays for guns and other accessories with finger print recognition, custom made, fills the whole trunk.
BMW M4, 7 series, 640d and lots of Volvo were acquired too.
Ha one of them must have been on holiday in Dubai and took fancy to the idea of swanning about it something a bit snazzier than a Mondeo! I'd give it a month before they'd run out of talent in an M4!Originally Posted by GERMANIKS

They got proper training too.
Surely a M3 would make more sense? And I'd give them a day in this weather before they bin it:hehe!:
Few will be binned that's for sure unfortunately. That's the nature of the job.Originally Posted by 318 iS Cosmos

Some amount of faith on here!
Instead of being negative and insulting what MIGHT happen to the vehicle, why don't you honour the Gardai for the investment they have done to protect our country with better resources
These specialist cars aren't going to be given to any officer. Only the ones with vehicle training.
Can't understand the logic behind the m4 at all its not discrete covert practical or remotely economical will spend more time refuelling then chasing plus it will stand out like a sore thumb an f10 535d would have been a far better choice
Not the first time the Gardaí have gone the high powered route. I seem to recall back in the late '80's they got a brace of cars like the Renault 18 Turbo (better than it sounds ),Sapphire Cossie's, etc. when there was a bit of a joy riding crisis, BMW's didn't come with alarms and Transit vans could be opened with the key from a tin of salmon. A few of these turned up later at Garda car auctions out near Heuston Station in various stages of knackeredness.
